Inside Team SR: Meet Our Marketing Manager

This month we caught up with Brenda, Scarf Room’s Marketing Manager.

Following her degree, Brenda qualified as a solicitor but gave up the Law when she moved from London to the North West just after her first child was born. As her children were growing up, she studied for a diploma in Yoga which she still teaches privately. Her other loves are Italy and fashion, so when the opportunity presented itself to work at Scarf Room with its strong Italian connections, she grabbed it.  She says, “I love the variety of my job. I’m involved in all aspects of the business from dealing with suppliers in Italy, Nepal and India, to promoting Scarf Room through well-optimised webpages, engaging e-mail campaigns and the not-to-be-missed weekly blog.  I also make the tea.”

Favourite spot in Lytham: Capri or Spago for cocktails, The Queen’s for dinner.

Favourite scarf: Gold cashmere.
